A refined pair of Italian Louis XVI style wall sconces dating to the early 20th century, featuring elegant three-arm forms with classical neoclassical detailing. Each sconce is crowned with an urn-form crest and composed of scrolling foliate arms extending from a tapered backplate.
The design draws on traditional Louis XVI motifs—acanthus leaves, fluting, and balanced symmetry—while the patinated metal finish lends depth and a softly aged character. The sculptural quality of the casting gives these presence without feeling heavy, making them especially versatile across interiors.
Well-scaled and easy to place, they work beautifully flanking a mirror, fireplace, or artwork, adding both height and ambient light to a space.
Condition is consistent with age and use, with minor surface wear to the patina. Fixtures are currently unwired and should be professionally wired prior to installation.
