Two Obelisks in Bone Inlay and Carved Travertine, circa 1970
Details
Two obelisks from around 1970, related but not matched: the taller in bone inlay laid in a herringbone pattern, the shorter carved from travertine. One warm and graphic, one soft and chalky. They look better together than either would alone.
Sourced from a private Swedish collection. Made for a mantel, a bookshelf, or the end of a console.
Dimensions: approx. 15" and 13.4" high.
Condition: Corners and finials slightly worn, which suits them.
Arriving soon: these are on their way to Nashville. Reach out to reserve them before they land, or to confirm measurements and delivery.
