What is it?
A Gustavian-style chest of drawers in a soft, chalky blue-grey painted finish — clean lines, good proportion, sensible depth. Four drawers.

Where did it come from?
Sweden, late 20th century, in the Gustavian tradition.

Why did I choose it?
A blue Gustavian chest is one of those pieces that arrives in a room and immediately makes it look like you know what you're doing. The color is right — not too blue, not too grey.

Condition:
Good. Painted finish shows light age-appropriate wear. Drawers function well.

  • Painted wood, Gustavian style
  • 35"W × 18.5"D × 33.25"H

Curator's note

Chosen for that restrained Swedish feeling: pale surface, graceful scale, and quiet old-world character.
