A really beautiful pair of Louis XV style gilt bronze wall sconces with soft, flowing lines and classic Rococo detailing. The arms have that signature movement you want in this style—curved, a little dramatic, but still refined.
Each sconce holds two candle-style lights and is finished with black shades lined in warm gold, which gives off a really flattering light and adds just enough contrast against the gilt.
They have a nice presence without feeling oversized, so they work easily in a lot of places—flanking a mirror, over a console, in a hallway, or even in a bedroom.
There’s some light wear to the gilt and minor scuffs to the shades, all consistent with age and honestly what you want to see in something like this. They’re hardwired and should be installed by a professional.
