What is it? A 1950s Danish oak stool with barley twist legs and an upholstered top — 14 inches wide, 16 inches tall. Honest, well-made, and useful.
Where did it come from? Denmark, 1950s. Sourced through auction.
Why did I choose it? The barley twist legs give it more character than a plain-leg stool. The scale is right for the end of a bed, in front of a fireplace, or beside a chair.
Condition: Good. Upholstered top shows honest wear. Structure is sound.
