    A miniature oil landscape on board in the Impressionist manner — small scale, demanding more from the painter, not less. Set in a giltwood frame. 6 inches wide.

    Where did it come from?
    Mid 20th century. Sourced through auction, March 2026.

    Why did I choose it?
    Because miniatures done well are harder than large canvases. This one holds its own on a shelf, mantel, or grouped with other small works.
